Vesti la Giubba (Put on the costume) sung by Canio at the conclusion of act 1 in the opera Pagliacci. Composed by Ruggiero Leoncavallo (1857-1919) in 1892. This aria is so popular as underscore it has become the go-to recording when opera singing is needed for a plot-line or as soundtrack.
