Volume 1: Beethoven Symphonies Vol. 1 Beethoven symphonies are among of the most beloved treasures of western culture. They are constantly performed around the world. This first volume contains Symphonies No. 1 and No. 3 also known as the Eroica Symphony.
Styles Include: Further expansion of the symphonic form. Symphony No. 4 which comes between the much praised No. 3 (Eroica) and the famous 5th Symphony, was described as a perfect symphony much regarded by other composers such as Robert Schumann.

Features Symphony No. 7 in A major Op. 92 (four movements) and Symphony No. 8 in F Major Op. 93 (four movements).
Song Descriptions: The second movement of the 7th Symphony is probably Beethoven's most famous slow movement. Dominated by a brooding melody, the movement gradually builds to a huge climax. When this work was premiered, this movement had to be repeated as an encore. It is often played as a solemn remembrance at state funerals or important historic events in Europe.
