Allegro con brio, Mvt 4 from Symphony No. 7 in A major (Op. 92) by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827). This movement's highly-rhythmic and expressive phrases propell it forward radiating an immense joy all the way through to its stirring conclusion. There is a wonderful use of French horns in this movement's orchestration.

Mvt 4 from Symphony No 7 Op 92 is part of the Beethoven Symphonies Vol. 4 CD collection
Beethoven Symphonies, Vol. 4 includes the 7th Symphony and Symphony No. 8. It is with these symphonies that the music starts to point to a greater personal expression, one that would point the way to the music of the next 60 years, an era termed the "Romantic Period".
