Movement 1 from Schubert's Trio No. 1 in B-flat major for piano, violin, and violoncello, (D 898). The first Piano Trio is one of the finest chamber works by Schubert. Broad in scope (this one movement is 15 minutes long), it has a determined, optimistic outlook about it.
