Allegro con brio, Mov't 1 from Piano Sonata No. 21 in C major, Opus 53 by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827). Beethoven dedicated this work to Count Ferdinand von Waldstein in 1804. It has since be known as the Waldstein sonata. It is considered one of Beethoven's greatest works. It is also one of the more technically challenging of Beethoven's sonata output creating a thrilling atmosphere
