Morning Mood (Morgenstemning) is the first movement in Edvard Grieg's famous Peer Gynt Suite No. 1 Op. 46. Morning Mood can be heard as background music for dozens of productions from commercials to the animated cartoon The Simpsons. The piece depicts the rising of the sun and is probably Grieg's most known melody.
