Largo al factotum della citta is an aria sung in The Barber of Seville upon the first entrance of Figaro. The repeated singing of Figaro, Figaro, Figaro is a well-known operatic moment which is sometimes used to great effect as a comedic underscore. The opera was first performed in 1826 and was composed by Gioachino Rossini (1792-1868)
