UniqueTracks music collections are available as Audio CD’s and as digital files on CD-ROM in WAV format (WAV files can be used by both PC/Windows and Apple/Macintosh computers). Each collection can also be downloaded as WAV files or as MP3 files directly to your computer.
To use the Audio CD version in a video editor on your computer, you will first have to convert the CD into digital audio files. This is easily accomplished by most video editors today.
As a timesaver, we also offer our music pre-digitized as WAV files on CD-ROMs. The music on the CD-ROM versions is exactly the same as what’s on the Audio CDs except it is already formatted as WAV files for computer use.
The CD-ROM versions are sold as sets bundling both the digital files along with the regular Audio CDs. You get a copy of each. This was done so you could easily audition the Audio version in a regular CD player or iTunes to quickly find the tracks you want to use. You can then go to the CD ROM and easily locate the file you want to use.
When you purchase a CD collection from UniqueTracks, you also have the choice of downloading the entire collection right at the time of purchase in either MP3 format or WAV format. This will save shipping costs and delivery time, especially for international customers.
