UniqueTracks has just commissioned a new CD collection of music from Argentinian composer Leopoldo Ciancaglini. This world-music flavored collection features ancient wooden flutes, exotic percussion instruments and some really brilliant acoustic guitar playing.

The collection is inspired by the music of the original inhabitants of what is now Argentina. Usually one thinks of the Tango as the sound of Argentina but on this disc the music is more native and earthy - similar to that made by the indiginous people of the Andes Mountains.

UniqueTracks will release this CD in Sept/Oct. 2005.
